There's a wonderful tradition…
An intentional one, that overcomes even the National Day.
Remembrance Day.
The celebration to make sure we never forget those who made the country that is today.
Willing to "take death as a part of the deal" (citing a WWII Veteran).
And the Poppy is the symbol of each one of them.
I wear this delicate flower proudly, every year. What it represents... reasons with me as well, adding to the memory of my Grandfather.
