I didn’t need to be reminded. But somehow, while watching a video on the internet, something came back to me.
Kids don’t need expensive toys, or gadgets.
I saw how mine lightened up when I just talked to them.
Advice, a story, a fact, expressed at their level. Which is a wonderful level. Still wondering, still creating, still seeing things that we don’t see anymore.
I know “busy”. Busy for our kids to have a better life than we had.
But in the end, it should be just being there, talking…
