The way nature creates them.
Thousands of years. ..
Waking in the heart of the mountains.
Big transparent rocks just waiting to be admired.
Of course there’s a way to create them in the lab so we can have them quickly. But the natural ones are my favorite.
There’s no secret, I prefer waiting for them to be formed at their steady pace.
And even if I won’t live a thousand, at least I admire the result of a work that started way before my time.
And that, for me, is science.
The science of Earth.
